Pimienta Blanca perform a spicy blend of Latin jazz that packs a rhythmic punch! Pimienta Blanca is the latest project by longtime collaborators Karen Rauh (keyboards), Mark Fraser (bass), and Allyson Rogers (drums), who have been exploring Latin jazz repertoire since 2012. They are thrilled to add saxophonist and multi-reed player Richard Page to the line-up and have recently performed as Pimienta Blanca at the 2018 Merrickville Jazz Festival and regularly at other Ottawa-area venues. Pimienta Blanca’s infectious rhythms awaken the senses and bring energy to the bandstand, winning rave reviews from local audiences.
